Dinner at Citizen: An Evening with Justen Harn

In our first ever Dinner at Citizen, we welcome Justen Harn for an intimate evening of food, drink, and conversation on the future of media and its role in social change. Justen currently serves as the Executive director at Open Signal, Portland's hub for community media training and equipment access.

For over a decade, Justen has worked as a nonprofit arts administrator, educator, programmer and cultural engineer. He has curated experiences for leading institutions across the country, ranging from The Walker Art Center to The Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, and has facilitated programs in collaboration with Carrie Brownstein, James Franco, Todd Haynes, Miranda July, Kelly Reichardt, and Gus Van Sant, among others. His programming has garnered attention from a wide spectrum of sources, including All Things Considered (NPR), Monocle, The New York Times, Paste Magazine, Vice Magazine, and the Wall Street Journal.

This gathering will be hosted by Media Institute for Social Change board member Lee Shaker. Dinner will be provided by ¿Por Qué No?, one of our neighbors on N Mississippi Avenue.
