For two years, Citizen served as the Media Institute's storefront, media classroom and event space on bustling North Mississippi Avenue. In addition to serving up coffee and tea through our partnership with p:ear barista school, we hosted weekly movie screenings, media classes, and events like our monthly “Dinners With A Local Filmmaker,” hosted by our neighbors, Por Que No? and Stormbreaker Brewery. Sponsored by a grant from Collins Foundation.

Also, sponsored by a RACC grant, we hosted the unique “Window Cinema”; a mix of street art and guerilla marketing, we showed short documentaries on our front windows to passerbys!
