GATHER EVENT at mississippi pizza

THURSDAY | OCTOBER 22ND, 2015 | 8-9 PM ALL AGES | 9-10 PM 21+ | FREE

Each fall, the Media Institute for Social Change hosts a gather event to bring together some of Portland's finest. It's a celebration of non-profits featured in our media and on our radio show, The Non-Profit Hour, throughout the year. It's a wonderful opportunity for our community to connect. We'll have DJ JBJ of XRAY.FM, an interview with Kimburly Ervin, a silent auction with proceeds going to support MISC programming, and of course, pizza and drinks available for purchase.

8-9 pm interview with kimburly ervin, senior social media           strategist at pyramid communications

Kimburly Ervin is the Senior Social Media strategist at Pyramid Communications, a full-service strategic communications and public affairs firm with a goal to give a voice to good causes.
From 8-9 pm on Thursday evening, join us as our Executive Director, Phil Busse, interviews Ervin about her experiences working with non-profits to help share their story through emerging social media technologies.

9-10 pm music with dj jbj of xray.fm's hello cruel world
